Step 1: Occupational Areas

Step 2: Submit Your Resume
Procedurally speaking, we follow a fairly straight forward and simple process which is a follows:
- Please submit your resumes to our central processing centre in order for our staff to identify if your qualifications match up to the standards for employment within the labour markets where we have employers seeking qualified personnel. Also the resume will be edited for proper grammar and suitability to a North American Labour Market.
Step 3: Resume Evaluation
- Should it be determined that your profile meets with the basic occupational standards, a representative we will notify you that you are suitable for registration. In addition your resumes will be reformatted to North American standards if required. (please note at that time a small registration fee will be due and payable) Registration is for the purpose of confirming your commitment to pursue the opportunities made available to you and for proper formatting of your resume and profile for employer review.
- If required, at registration, the appropriate credentials will be requested if you are seeking an occupation which requires specific certification.
Step 4: Marketing Begins
- After registration your North American standard resume will be marketed to our employers and when an employer wishes to speak with you, a Life Long Ed representative will contact you and give you the contact information for the employer.
Step 5: Job Offer
- Should you obtain an employment offer, Life Long Ed will assist in your relocation to your new place of work and residency. On landing, an administration fee will become due and payable. The administration fee will be calculated prior to your arrival and is based on costs associated with your settlement in your location of work. A Life Long Ed representative will review this with you.

At two points in the year we visit the countries where we recruit from and provide training sessions to interested candidates on obtaining employment in Canada. These sessions have been well received in the past as it allows candidates an opportunity to meet with a Canadian recruiter and ask questions. In the training sessions we cover the following information:

- How to find Canadian employers looking to Hire people from overseas
- How to make a resume for a Canadian Employer
- How to interview for a Canadian Employer
- How to interview with Canadian officials for a Work Visa (All the steps involved)
- How to prepare to come to Canada to work
