How to find Canadian employers looking to Hire people from overseas
Many foreign workers become very frustrated when looking for work in Canada as they find employers routinely reject them as potential hires or do not even contact them. This is because many employers in Canada do not hire foreign workers yet there are a percentage of employers who do hire foreign workers. In this section, participants are taught how to identify and locate employers in Canada who hire foreign workers. Through learning the methods in identifying these employers, participants greatly increase their chances through focusing their energies on talking to employers who would consider hiring them.
How to make a resume for a Canadian Employer
The single greatest reason for not considering a foreign worker for employment is because the workers resume does not reflect the appropriate information to allow the employer to make an informed decision. In this section, participants are taught what a North American resume should look like and how the information on it should be presented. At the conclusion of this section, participants will have a North American style resume which will maximize their chances of getting noticed by an employer.
How to interview for a Canadian Employer
The second most common reason for why foreign workers do not get chosen for employment is because they have difficulty explaining their skills and qualifications and most importantly do not know what information the employer is seeking to learn about them in order to make an informed decision about how well they may match up to the job available. In this section, participants are taught just exactly what information employers are trying to identify about the candidate so they can determine if the person can be successful in their work environment. As many foreign workers have never been to North America or worked in North America, they do not know all of the factors employers consider when making a decision to hire a person. At the conclusion of this session, participants will know exactly what to say and how to speak with a potential employer so as to allow the employer an opportunity to make a fully informed decision.
How to interview with Canadian officials for a Work Visa (All the steps involved)
In this section the presenter will review all of the steps involved when a person has been hired by an overseas employer inclusive of what documentation will be required. Many foreign workers do not get admittance into Canada to work because they do not know how to present their credentials. Many Canadian provinces have additional requirements and regulations which differ for each province for certain occupations and not all Canadian employers are aware of them. Many foreign workers get offered positions only to find out that at the interview stage with Canadian officials that certain credentials are incorrect or not presented properly and are refused admittance even though they have been offered a job and are qualified. In this section all participants will be made aware of all of the correct information that will be required of them should they obtain an employment offer within a specific location in Canada.
